Fly


I can fly the kite – Mo lè ta káìtì náà.
I flew the kite – Mo ta káìtì náà.
I have flown the kite – Mo ti ta káìtì náà.
Let him rise – Jẹ́ kí ó dìde.
He rose – Ó dìde.
He had risen before I came – Ó ti dìde kí n tóó dé.
It will shrink – Yóò kéré sí i.
It shrank – Ó kéré sí i.
It had shrunk – Ó ti kéré sí i.
The boat might sink – Ọkò ojú omi náà lè rì.
The boat sank – Ọkò ojú omi náà rì.
The boat had sunk – Ọkọ̀ ojú omi náà ti rì.

He hung his hat there – Ó fi fìlà rẹ̀ kọ́ sí ibẹ̀.
He has hung his there – Ó ti fi fà rẹ̀ kọ́ sí ibẹ̀.
Lay the boxes on the table – Tẹ́ àwọn àpótí náà sí orí tábìlì.
He laid the boxes on the table – Ó tẹ́ àwọn àpótí náà sí orí tábìlì.
He has laid the boxes on the table – Ó ti tẹ́ àwọn àpótí náà sí orí tábìlì.
